Who I work with

Actors, writers, and musicians

Auditions, rejection, visibility, and the gaps between projects.

Producers and crew

Long shoot days, travel, and schedules that swallow everything else.

Lawyers, finance, and tech

High stakes, long hours, and perfectionism that stops working.

For the entertainment industry and creative careers

Work in entertainment often comes with pressure other jobs do not: constant evaluation, public attention, uncertain gigs, and long stretches between projects. Those swings can affect mood, confidence, and relationships.

Ramin knows this world from the inside. Alongside his clinical work, he is an award-winning writer and producer, so he understands the pressures of pitching, production schedules, and waiting on a green light.

Therapy gives you a steady, private place to sort out what is yours to change, manage the ups and downs, and keep the people and parts of life that matter from getting lost in the work. Read Handling rejection and uncertainty in the entertainment industry.

Discretion and confidentiality

What you share in therapy is confidential, within the limits set by California law. Ramin never shares client stories or details.

If you prefer, first contact can be as brief as your first name and a good time to talk.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Still wondering about something? Ask during your free consultation.

Can I do sessions from work or while traveling?

Yes, as long as you are in a private space and physically located in California at the time of the session.

Is therapy only for people in crisis?

No. Many high-functioning people use therapy to handle stress better, make clearer decisions, and protect their relationships and health.

Is online therapy as effective as in-person therapy?

For many concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, and relationship issues, research has found video therapy to be comparable to in-person sessions. Many clients also find it easier to stay consistent when there is no commute.

Do you take insurance?

Sessions are private pay (out of network). During your free consultation you can ask about using out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan.

How much does therapy cost?

Individual sessions are $250 and couples sessions are $500. The first consultation is free. Sessions are private pay, and Ramin is an out-of-network provider.

Who can you see?

Because Ramin is licensed in California, he can see clients who are located in California at the time of the session, anywhere in the state, from San Diego to the Bay Area.
